    PORTRAITS - FAQs
Listed below are a number of questions we are asked on a regular basis.  We hope they answer any queries you may have, but if they don't then please contact us immediately by email info@hazelhannant.co.uk or by phone 07792 816879.

How do we go about organising a portrait session?
Simply contact us to discuss your specific requirements. Then between us, we will agree the best time and location for your shoot.

Where are the portraits taken?
We will come to you at a location of your choice - inside or out.  However this is of course dependent on the British weather! Popular location choices include at home, the beach, a local park or castle. If the weather is a big concern, we will generally come up with a contingency plan!

Who will be our photographer?
We have a range of photographers but Hazel endeavours to do most of the shoots herself.

What do we wear for the session?
Wear clothes you feel relaxed in. Jeans are generally fine and it is best where possible,to wear plain, bold colours that either compliment each other or contrast.  Try to avoid busy patterns / prints.

Does the photographer have a full up to date CRB check?
Yes.  We take great pride in staying up to date.

How fast will we get our images?
We aim to get the DVD slideshow and proof book out to you within 14 days of the session and, at the end of the session will arrange a viewing appointment for one month after the session. This ensures you have had time to enjoy the images and begin to get an idea of how you'd like to create pieces of artwork for your home.

When do we pay?
Payment for your package choice is taken at the end of your session.

How can we display our images?
We provide a variety of poducts to show your images in the best possible way.  These include reprints, additional albums, calendars, framed portraits, framed image collections, canvasses and blocks. Ask your photographer to see samples.

When do we order any extra products?
If you wish to order any additional products to those included in your package, you can do so at your viewing session.  However, payment is required at time of ordering.

How much 'touching up' is done with digital images?
This is kept to a minimum.  The images are all taken in colour so the main changes occur to the appearance as we provide images in  a range of colour, sepia or black and white.
