How it works
    WEDDINGS - How it works

Booking your wedding
Before taking your booking we feel, it is very important to meet the both of you and even more important for you to meet us.  We therefore offer a no-obligation consultation either in your own home or at a mutually convenient location.

During this meeting we will show you a sample album of a recent wedding as well as examples of all our additional products, such as parents' albums, thank you cards and a sample book of swatches from which you can design your album.

To confirm your booking we will ask you to complete and return to us a contract with a £200.00 deposit.  This is the same for all packages. Once we receive your deposit and contract we will send you a booking confirmation letter and package details as well as a receipt within 7 working days.

Pre-shoot
Communication is the key and this is where the day really starts to take shape.  Approximately 6 weeks in advance of the wedding your photographer will meet with both of you, at your own home to discuss all the requirements in detail.

Together, then you and your photographer, will then visit both the wedding and reception venues to shoot a few test images and discuss any ideas you may have.

There are huge benefits to the preshoot as it starts bringing together the details of your day. It facilitates communication between you, the bride and groom, and your photographer, to ensure that you can relax on your big day knowing that everything is under control and exactly how you want it to be.

The pre-shoot also gives your photographer an opportunity to see how you, as a couple, fit into the landscape of the venues and then to plan with regards to the shots that are to be taken.

Once the pre-shoot is completed you will receive a detailed breakdown of timings for your day to help give you a structure.  In addition you will also be given a list of specific portrait requirements as discussed at the pre-shoot.  This can also be forwarded to the wedding party so everyone is informed.

During this meeting you will also be able to add extras to your package, such as additional albums and extra thank you cards.  The cost of these will be added to the unpaid portion of your package price. We then take payment of 50% 0f the final balance.

Wedding Day
Once all the planning, preparation and communication is done, the wedding day itself is just about working the plan and making it all real for you. Perfectly!

Post Wedding
We endeavour to get your proof book to you shortly after you return from honeymoon (approx 2 - 3 weeks after the wedding).  The proof book includes more images than will be able to be fit into your album and so gives you an opportunity to highlight your favourite images that you wish to include within your album and indicate those which you do not want in the album at all!

Once you have seen and approved the images in your proof book, the images are released and go online to be viewed by your guests.

Based on the information of the images you do and do not want in your album we design an album for you and visit you in your home.

During this appointment we will project the album design onto a wall and give you an opportunity to approve and tweak each page individually before the album is sent to New Zealand for production.

It is important to remember that no two albums are ever the same! Each one is designed around the images for each individual wedding.

Once approved and ordered it takes approximately one month to receive your album,

Therefore, within three months of your wedding,we aim to have delivered your finished Album directly to you!

Upon delivery of your album we collect payment of the remaining balance of your package and any extra products
